This check valve is lead free and suitable for all potable water supply installations. It is constructed of brass for strength and durability. This swing check valve for establishing a one-way flow in supply lines, with a pressure of 200 PSI WOG and 125 PSI SWP. In particular, it has a lead free cast brass construction with an inlet and outlet with female threaded connects for use with 1 inch IPS diameter pipes. This series features metal-to-metal seal, either threaded NPT or solder end connections and a Lead Free brass body. Models LFWCV, and LFWCVS are available in sizes 1/2 to 1 in. (15 to 25mm). Series LFWCV, LFWCVS has metal-to-metal seating and provides low pressure drop and automatic closure when fluid flow is stopped. Furthermore, UPC approved the fitting for meeting the NSF 61-G lead free standards.
