Swept-back design allows enhanced field of view and balance. Cartridge is suited for a variety of applications, including petrochemical and chemical processing, utilities, pharmaceuticals, mining and primary metals. Cartridge is not designed for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health.

3M Low-Maintenance Cartridge is designed to render respiratory protection from chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, chlorine dioxide or hydrogen sulfide at concentrations up to 10 times and 50 times the permissible exposure limit with half Face pieces and full Face pieces respectively. This cartridge is compatible with 6000 and 7000 series air purifying respirator comprising bayonet style cartridge holders.
