The flame-retardant tape is designed for low- and high-voltage bus applications and withstands a temperature range of 15 to 176 degrees F (-10 to 80 degrees C).

3M 35 Color Coding Electrical Tape is a premium quality, 7-mil thick electrical insulating tape. Each roll is either 1/2 inch wide x 20 feet long or 3/4 inch wide x 66 feet long depending on the pack purchased. Flame-retardant, weather-resistant; resists UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalies, solvents, many acids. One of each of 9 colors comes in each pack. This electrical tape is preferred for sealing cable systems because the CSM rubber backing resists oil, chemicals, abrasion, moisture, and degradation that can occur when exposed to harsh environments. Once applied, the tape seals the electrical components from moisture and other contaminants.

A Tape for Both Simple and Substantial Cable Jacket Repairs
This tape may be used to repair either slightly damaged cable jackets or more substantial repairs in which a section of the cable jacket is missing. For small defects in the cable jacket, wrap Scotch Cable Jacket Repair Tape 2234 over the damaged area and then apply Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape (sold separately) to secure the ends. For more significant repairs where a portion of the cable jacket is missing, first apply Scotch Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape 130C (sold separately), building up and across the splice until it is equal to the original cable jacket thickness. Then apply Scotch Cable Jacket Repair Tape 2234 over the repair. Finally, secure the ends with Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape (sold separately).
